About Me

My photo
CelticJourney
I think it must be my Galician blood on my mother’s side, but growing up in Spain I was always in love with Celtic culture. I met who will be my partner, an Irishman, in Spain. He knew about Irish mythology and I always loved to hear the stories. When we moved to Ireland in 1994, I became even more interested in Celtic artwork. At some point I decided to have a go at putting into paper some of those figures I could see in my mind. For many years the idea of creating a business combining the two things I am passionate about, was pushed to the back of my mind, but it came back to hunt me from time to time. 16 years later my dream has become a reality. CelticJourney was born out of the meeting of two passions, a passion for art and for Celtic Mythology. The marriage between them gave birth to a selection of Irish Mythology souvenirs;that allows the visitors of Ireland to take home, not just a keepsake of their holidays, but a piece of the art and culture of Ireland. The detailed art-work and the vibrant colours used in my designs, make the onlookers stop and have a closer look,to be taken into a journey. It is then, that from the distant past, come tales of Gods, giants and heroes.
